Every provider on the Thailand board is scored from 1 to 10 on six criteria. The overall score is the plain average, and the order of the board follows it.
The six criteria
| Criterion | What scores high | Input |
|---|---|---|
| Price per GB | Low prices at 1 GB, 10 GB and 20 GB, and a falling price per GB on larger plans | Provider's Thailand plan page |
| Plan range | Small and large fixed plans plus unlimited options | Provider's Thailand plan page |
| Validity length | Plans that cover long trips, and generous activation windows | Plan page and terms |
| Payment options | Methods listed at checkout: cards, wallets, crypto | Provider site |
| Network transparency | Naming the Thai networks the eSIM uses | Provider's Thailand plan page |
| Signup and setup | Few steps, no documents, in-app install and top-up | Provider site, app store listings, terms |
What is not in the score
We do not score network speed per provider, because providers rarely publish it and we do not run our own field tests. For network context we cite Opensignal's Thailand reports, which measure AIS, dtac and TrueMove H directly.
How often scores change
We reread each provider's Thailand page when we update the board. A price change can move a score; a sale price is noted as a sale. The date on each page shows the last check.
Your trip may weigh things differently
If you only care about the cheapest 1 GB for a weekend, read the price column, not the average. The guide has quick picks by type of trip.
